Discuss your own feelings and attitudes towards what you have read. You might
want to think of the following things, and explain your point of view
properly...
- Does multi-tasking give you a real or false sense of having accomplished something?
Art has been my passion since I was young and when I entered Polytechnic, I didn't really get the chance to do what I like as I concentrated more on using the laptop to do my school work. 'The Chronicle of Higher Education' stated that "At some point in time it does become necessary to return to the basics and turn off everything digital, unplug. " and that is why I took design as my CDS, returning to the basic.
- Is learning 3D and design different from learning programming, or is all learning the same? Why?
- The article states that "Learning is actually a very complex operation for an individual". Do you agree with this? Do you feel that you approach your learning in the best way - if yes, how, and if no, how can you change your work style?
Currently, I don't think so because the progress I've made so far is way too slow after looking at my classmates work. I feel that this semester, I've been slacking a lot, which is not good. I really have to plan my time well in order to catch up with the rest and THE SLACKING HAS TO STOP RIGHT AWAY ! Most importantly, I need to have fun with what I'm learning and do my very best.
- What are your thoughts about the last paragraph in the extract?

- Should your lecturers also focus on your work attitude, or just leave you to sink or swim on your own? Why?
