My Reflection when developing Gear:
Change to 'Face' mode and to select the faces that I want without any mistakes, I have to press the 'Copy' button while selecting all. After selecting all the faces, I can start to extrude. Extrude is like creating another layer onto the selected face and move the extruded faces outwards and the gear is all done ! :)
